🛠️ Step 2: Run the Installer
Once the download is complete, double-click the .exe file. A setup wizard will open. Simply follow the on-screen instructions, choose your destination folder, and install.
⚠️ Important Note (Windows SmartScreen)
Because Capsule is an indie engine created with passion, Windows Defender or SmartScreen might show a blue security screen saying "Windows protected your PC". Don't worry, this is completely normal for new indie software without an expensive corporate certificate!
To proceed:
- Click on "More info".
- Then click the "Run anyway" button that appears at the bottom.

Once the installation is finished, double-click the new Capsule VN Engine shortcut on your desktop. The interface will open right up, ready for your backgrounds, characters, and scripts.
